Carolyne is the Managing Partner and founding member of the Firm. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and has broad experience in the transactional legal services of the Firm particularly in project finance, banking & financial matters.

Her work encompasses corporate & commercial law, corporate restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, conveyancing, property law, regulatory advice to banks & financial institutions and non for profit entities and provides assistance with immigration matters.

She also advises on intellectual property including trademarks, patents, copyright and commercial names. Carolyne previously worked for one of the largest law firm in Tanzania rising from a junior position at Rex Attorneys (cum ENSafrica Attorneys, Tanzania) to a Senior Associate Partner.

Carolyne has a degree in law (LL.B.) from The Tumaini University (Tanzania) and an MBA from the Glamorgan University (UK). Her diversified educational background gives her an edge in fields of law and business. She is a member of Tanganyika Law Society, East Africa Law Society and International Bar Association (IBA).

Grace is our Legal Consultant and a founding member of the Firm mainly heading the Dispute Resolution Department. She consults and advises on matters relating to commercial disputes including but not limited to labour & employment and commercial transactions. Her practice is primarily focused on corporate law including assisting clients with regards to real estate, contracts, joint ventures, banking & finance, investment, wealth management and competition

Grace has worked for Stanbic Bank Tanzania Limited in various senior positions across different departments such as Credit, Risk and Legal, including serving as Head of Governance, Collateral Manager and Credit Legal Manager.

Grace attained her first degree in law (LL.B.) from the University of Pretoria (South Africa) and Masters in International Commercial Law (LL.M.) from the University of Kent (UK). Her educational background cuts across two legal systems; Roman Dutch and Common Law and that gives her a legal exposure and depth that is rich and relevant when dealing with clients irrespective of the aforementioned jurisdictions. She is also a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA).
